Thrissur Zoo and State Museum
Established in 1885, the Thrissur Zoo and State Museum is one of the oldest in India, offering a rich blend of wildlife and regional history across its 13.5-acre campus. While the animals are currently being shifted to the new, world-class Puthur Zoological Park, the historic site remains a popular hub for its unique Snake Park, an Art Museum showcasing ancient jewelry and metal sculptures, and a Natural History Museum featuring a famous mounted elephant skeleton.
